Hi there...we are contemplating a third trip to WDW. Looking for a tour to do that both kids would enjoy...boy 11 and girl 7. My son and husband did the Wild Africa Trek last year. Thanks for your advice!

Hi Sandi! Although Disney offers many great tours on property there are only two that I know of right now for anyone the age of 7. You can sign up for the Magic Kingdom's Disney Family Magic tour which is fun but not sure if your eleven year old will find himself a bit old for it. The entire family can certainly participate and you do get to enjoy a couple of rides without waits. Maybe if you can convince him to bear with the younger children for his sister this year since he was able to do the Wild Africa Trek last year!?

The only other option is the Wild About Seeds tour at the Land Pavilion. This is open to all ages and very interesting but likely more so for the adults then the children. It is only an hour long and it will take you behind the scenes of the Living with the Land boat ride where they grow the many plants using updated technology. Much of the food they grow is also used in Disney restaurants which makes it doubly interesting.

I know it is hard to plan tours for the younger ages as their attention spans tend to vary so greatly. No one under the age of 16 will be permitted to do anything behind stage as they don't want any magic be taken away from them.

Perhaps you can book a fireworks cruise to something similar this time round where the entire family can be together and enjoy the experience.
