We are contemplating staying at Disney Pop Century Resort. I will be renting an ECV. Since the rooms are very compact, where can I keep the ECV at night so that the battery can charge? Is there an alcove outside the room for storage and battery charging?

    Welcome to planDisney, Krisylyn!

Disney's Pop Century Resort is my absolute favorite value resort. It is the hotel my family stayed at for our first ever Walt Disney World Resort visit, so it has so much sentimental value for us. You also can't go wrong with this hotel choice with larger-than-life eclectic decor, my favorite food court on the property, close proximity to the Disney Skyliner, and newly refurbished rooms!

ECVs may not be stored or left unattended in hotel corridors or hallways. The rooms at Pop Century Resort offer either 1 King Bed or 1 Queen-Size Table Bed and 1 Queen Bed depending on what room type you choose. If you select the room with 1 Queen-Size Table Bed and 1 Queen Bed and do not need both beds, the Table Bed can be stored away and kept as a table for ample room. If this isn't an option, you may want to consider booking a larger room. The standard room size at Pop Century Resort is approx 260 square feet. A moderate level hotel room would be a bit roomier for you. For example, a standard room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offers 2 Queen Beds and is approximately 300 square feet.

Please stop back anytime if you need any additional help planning your upcoming visit, Krisylyn!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
