    Contemplating SOA. Reviews on panel seemed mixed w/small children (5 yr & 10 mos old DDs); but, my oldest loves everything Hawaiian. Questions: 5:15 or 8pm show? Can you see MK fireworks at both times? Can we still catch the bus back to POFQ w/8pm show

    Maybe I'm in the minority but I just love the Spirit of Aloha show at Disney's Polynesian Spa and Resort. The mix of traditional Hawaiian music and dance coupled with the amazing all you can eat food is a winning combination for me and my family. Whether it's the barbeque pork ribs or roast chicken the entrees are great. Combined with the fresh pineapple and salad with mango poppy seed dressing garnished with Mandarin oranges as well as the Polynesian-style rice and seasonal vegetable all gets my mouth watering. We all love the open air theater and the fact that there is a traditional knife fight ceremony keeps the entire family mesmerized. I would suggest that you contact (407) WDW-DINE to make a reservation as it can be very busy. As for the ability to make it to see the fireworks, it should not be an issue, but I would contact the hotel to find the best locations for viewing. With respect to transportation, that will be a bit trickier since sometimes the transportation can be a bit of a wait. Just plan early and it really will not be an issue. Have a magical journey to the Happiest Place on Earth.
