We are contemplating running the Walt Disney World Half-Marathon in Jan. 2014, any idea when it will be and when you can register? We have been to Disney every year since 2004 and this would be something new for our family. Thanks

    Hi Sandy!

I just returned from marathon weekend and I know that you will love it!  It's such a great and fun race weekend.

The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (including a 5K, kids races, half marathon and marathon) is usually the second full weekend of January.  I would guess the 2014 dates will be the weekend of January 11 and 12.  Of course, this is just my best guess and is subject to be wrong!

Please let me know if I can help you guys plan for this.  It's such a neat way for Disney lovers to see a different side of the Disney magic!
