Hi Carol!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. First, happy early birthday to your daughter. I love celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World because of the birthday pixie dust that sometimes appears!
In response to your question about age limits, I’m not aware of too many others. The
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is for children aged 3-12, so your daughter has a few more years for that experience if she’s interested. Similarly,
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple is for Guests aged 4-12. There may be a few other experiences with age limits; your best bet is to check in with a Cast Member if there’s an experience she would really want to participate in.
As for the birthday button, you may certainly ask for a Celebration Button even if her birthday doesn’t fall during your Walt Disney World vacation. The Cast Members at the front desk of your Resort hotel should have buttons available; if they don’t, your best bet is to stop in at Guest Services at any of the theme parks. The balloon vendors along Main Street, U.S.A. often have baskets of buttons available for guests who are celebrating something special. When your daughter wears her Celebration Button she will love the good wishes she receives from fellow Guests and Cast Members!
Carol, if you want to add a little extra birthday magic to your trip, I suggest ordering a special birthday cake or treat from
Disney Floral and Gifts. They will deliver it to your room for your special celebration. The chocolate cake is absolutely scrumptious!
Wishing you a magical vacation and birthday celebration,
Robyn
