How do I contact the ship during a European cruise in case there is an emergency while out to one of the ports?

Hello, Noreen! Welcome aboard planDisney. My pals and I are so glad to have you sail our way with your question.

My summer travel plans are envious of your summer travel plans! I hope you are having fun preparing for a European itinerary aboard the Disney Fantasy. I'd be happy to help you as you plan for your Disney Cruise. The contact information for any Disney Cruise ship is 1-888-DC-AT-SEA (1-888-322-8732). This is the contact number you could leave with friends or family if they needed to reach you while you were away. Please share with them your ship name and stateroom number in case they might need to reach you. The phone number for international calls from shore to ship is +1 732-335-3281. I believe this is also the number that you could use in case you need to contact the ship while in port. Please keep in mind that calls to the ship will incur a fee.

You could also try contacting Disney Cruise Line's Guest Services number, where an agent might be able to help. When in the United Kingdom, the phone number is 0800 171 2317. From other ports in Europe, the number is +1 (407) 566-3457. Just for an extra measure of comfort, I suggest asking the Crew Members at the Guest Services Desk onboard your sailing if they have a recommended way to contact the ship in case of emergency while in port. They might have more information to share with you that I'm not privy to.

I'm wishing you a very smooth sailing with absolutely no emergencies, only fun memories ahead! One way I like to eliminate concern for the "what ifs" is by booking Port Adventures with Disney Cruise Line. When you book a Port Adventure, Disney Cruise Line takes care of the travel details. The ship will even wait to depart if guests on a Port Adventure get delayed. That thought alone gives me some peace of mind.

Noreen, if you have more questions as your cruise approaches on the horizon, please return to us and ask. We'll do our best to help!

    Happy Planning,

    Adrianna
