A contact number to plan a vacation for our family.

    Welcome to planDisney, Michael!

Thanks for stopping by with your question.  While it's been a very long time since I planned my first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I still remember how overwhelming the process can seem.  With so many different theme parks, Resorts, tickets, and activities to choose from, it's tough to know where to begin.  Let me share a few details with you about the planning process to help you get started –– that way, you'll be able to officially start the countdown for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

When it comes to booking a Walt Disney World Resort visit over the phone, there are several numbers you'll want to have on hand.  To make reservations for a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or campground, you can give the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line a call at (407) 939-1936.  To purchase new tickets, you can call (407) 939-7679 and you can book tours or other recreation activities by calling (407) 939-1929.  At each of these numbers, you'll be able to speak with a Cast Member who can assist you.

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that Walt Disney World is currently experiencing historically high call volumes, so wait times over the phone can be very long (in fact, I've even heard of people waiting more than two hours to speak with a Cast Member).  Because of this, booking over the phone isn't typically something I recommend.  The great news, though, is that almost every part of a Walt Disney World vacation can be booked right from the Walt Disney World website.  You can make hotel reservations, purchase theme park and special event tickets, book dining reservations, and even make your Disney Park Pass theme park reservations right from your computer or mobile device.  You'll even have the option to build your own room and ticket package if that works best for your family.  Not only can this save you a ton of time, but I think being able to see all the options laid out in front of you is a great way to see exactly what's available to help you make the best selections for your family.

Again, thanks for visiting us with your question, Michael.  No matter how you choose to plan it, I hope your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort is filled with pixie dust from start to finish!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
