Hi there, Deborah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop in and ask you Walt Disney World Resort question!
Walt Disney World Resort offers a variety of accommodations and services for their
Guests with disabilities! This, of course, includes services for Guests that are experiencing medical conditions such as cancer. The services that may improve your specific experience may vary based on your specific needs and symptoms. However, I may have a few recommendations for you to consider!
If fatigue is a concern, I would strongly recommend looking into
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) or wheelchair rentals. As someone that utilizes a wheelchair when visiting the parks, I know these can be an absolute life-saver when conserving energy is a concern! ECV and wheelchair rentals are available at all theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.
If at any point you need a break or medical attention, you can also stop by the
First Aid centers located in the theme parks and water parks. Nurses are available during normal park operating hours and are able to administer over-the-counter medication to Guests. This is also a good spot to keep in mind if you need to have a period of rest away from the parks due to your medical condition. I've personally had to stop by one of these centers before and cannot recommend them enough!
If there are other specific concerns you have, you can also contact Disability Services by phone at (407) 560-2547 or emailing them at disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Best wishes with your recovery and have a magical vacation!
