Hi Jenny, and welcome to planDisney!
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is an excellent benefit for those guests “who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to disability.” You have asked a great question, and I think it is helpful to plan a time and day that works best for you to get the task completed within the final planning phase of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Before you begin, please have your theme park tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account and ensure your
Family & Friends list is updated as well. When you are ready to complete the pre-registration during the live video chat, you may experience extended hold times to speak with a Cast Member. The good news is that you can always use that time to plan for your upcoming vacation or maybe check other "to-do" items off your list while you wait. Pre-registration occurs 30 to 2 days prior to your arrival, so you can find the timeframe that works best for you within those days. If you cannot connect with a Cast Member via the live video chat, you can always register in person On-Site at Guest Relations.
Please let us know if you have additional questions!
Have a magical experience!
Raquel
