    how to consolidate gift cards

The gold of Cortes and the jewels of Pizarro will seem like mere trinkets by this time tomorrow, Jessica, because you'll have learned how to consolidate your fortune of gift cards here at planDisney! It's my absolute pleasure to welcome you and help free up some space in your wallet. The process couldn't be simpler, so let's get to it, because after all, time is money!

When I have consolidated gift cards in the past, I have selected one to be the one card to rule them all: for me this is typically the card with the highest balance. To check balances, head over to the Disney Gift Card website and click the "Check Balance" link on the homepage. Type in the 16 digit account number in the first box, then gently scratch off the silvery coating on the EAN and type that in the second box. Voila! You'll see the balance on each card.

In order to consolidate cards, you will need to log into the site with your My Disney account. Once you're logged in you'll see a tab at the top of the site called "My Cards." Click on that link and you'll be able to put each of your cards into the system. Once all your cards are in, there's an option that says "transfer funds to this card." You can choose up to three cards at a time and move the balance over to the receiving card. After this step I check and double-check the card numbers to make sure I know which card has all my funds for Disney snacks and pins on it.

Disney gift cards are the best because you can use them across the spectrum of Disney locations. They're good at Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Store, and more! The one place you can't use them is here at planDisney: our advice is free and we are happy to provide it.

Please come back and see us soon if you need suggestions about how to spend your gift card money. I am really good at doing that, just ask my wife! I am wishing you a fantastic shopping experience full of special memories and enchanting mementos.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
