Hi Rosanna!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!
I'm so sorry, Rosanna, that you're having a bit of a dining reservation dilemma, but I'll see what I can do to provide some helpful hints that might make your issues go 'Bibbidi Bobbidi Poof!' I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to see inside your
My Disneyland Account to view your holiday plans at
The Happiest Place on Earth. But do note that
Disneyland Dining Reservations can only be made 60 days in advance. If you are within your 60-days-of-arrival window, I'm so very excited for you! (But also just a little jealous because I wish I were traveling to
Southern California so soon! Do you need a personal tour guide? A purse and hat holder?)
Another idea I have that could be causing this pain point is how many are in your travel party? Something that changed to comply with local social distancing measures when the theme parks reopened last yEAR was that Dining Reservations could only host a maximum of six (6) people per table. The work-around for larger groups is to book two (or three, or so on) tables under just as many reservations at the same
Disney Dining Location with the seating times as near each other as possible. Then, when it's time to check-in for the meals, you can request that your tables be as near each other as possible. This works best when your seatings are within the first 20 minutes of the restaurant opening or the last hour of it being open
for each meal time as that's when you have the best chance of getting tables near each other, both before the restaurant fills up and once it starts thinning out. One last caveat to this plan, however, is that you can only have one dining reservation every 90 minutes, so the subsequent reservations will need to be booked through the
My Disneyland Account of someone else in your group.
If you
are within 60 days of arrival and your party is smaller than six, Goofy's Kitchen may be already booked solid for your desired Disney dates. You are more than welcome to keep checking for openings as other Guests cancel and change their dining reservations all the time; your best bet for this would be the day before as this location offers free dining cancelations up until 24 hours before mealtime. Or, another thought, is that Goofy's Kitchen is located inside the beautiful and iconic (ear-conic?)
The Disneyland Hotel; I would stop by on my arrival day or any other day when you plan on visiting the
Downtown Disney District, and ask if they have any availability for the remaining dates you're in town. You never know when you'll be sprinkled with a bit of pixie dust!
I am so sorry this answer wasn't as clEAR as either of us would like it to be, Rosanna, but I just know everything is going to work out and you'll be dining with your favorite Disney pals so soon! Be sure to follow the
