Hi, Rachel!
Welcome to
planDisney. I’m so happy to hear you want to plan a magical trip for your big family! There’s something for kids of all ages to enjoy at the
Disneyland Resort, so I think it’s the perfect place to vacation with your crew.
You’re probably having a hard time finding accommodations because most standard hotel rooms only sleep up 4 to 5 people. However, you can request connecting rooms at all three
Disneyland Resort Hotels, subject to availability. Another option to guarantee you all share the same space would be to book a 1- or 2-bedroom suite, which can be booked at all three on-property hotels. The largest 3-bedroom suite can even sleep up to 14 people, and they all have a main parlor with seating that includes a couch, arm chairs and a dining table and chairs.
Photos of all the room types can be viewed at
Disneyland.com to help you get a feel for the layout of each space and the magical details in the decor! I should also mention that the nearby
Good Neighbor Hotels can be a more economical option for large families who want to stay close to the magic at a Disney-approved hotel while sticking to a budget. There is a good selection of properties offering suites and adjoining rooms that could accommodate your large family.
I hope this information helps. Have a wonderful vacation with your family, Rachel, and please ask us any other questions you might have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
