Considering Wild Africa Trek but I've heard you can't take your phone/camera unless it attaches to your harness. Where can I find out the specifics for what is and isn't allowed? Would a standard camera strap be sufficient?

    Hi Lisa!

Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite tours in the Enchanting Extras Collection!  It's such a unique experience that Walt Disney World offers to its guests and it's so much fun!

I brought my phone along with me when I went on the Wild Africa Trek and bought a cheap case that included a wrist strap that I connected to my harness so I could take pictures.  My day-to-day case doesn't have a spot to connect a strap to it.  Your phone just can't be loose with the chance that it could fall into an animal exhibit.  There are a few safe stopping points where you can take pictures, but I didn't take many while we were on the course.  It was fair game once the course ended and we proceeded to the safari part that took us to our snack location.  There is a photographer with you the whole time that you can ask to take any pictures you'd like and all of those pictures are included with the tour.

You will absolutely love this tour if you decide to go.

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a wild day!
