We are considering visiting WDW November 11-16. Will the weather be warm enough to enjoy the pools. We'll probably stay at POR. Thanks.

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I have visited Walt Disney World at all times of year, and have found myself in the pool as late in the year as December!  If you are traveling with children, typically no matter what the temperature is, they will want to get in the pool.  The average high temperatures in November in Orlando are around 79 degrees Fahrenheit, which in my opinion is a little chilly for a pool, but I would be in there with my daughter if we were at Walt Disney World in November!  Also, the pools at Walt Disney World are heated so the water will stay warmer than you might expect if it is chilly outside.

The pools at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside are really neat.  The main pool, Ol' Man Island, is themed after an abandoned sawmill and has a waterslide.  It really is a fun pool.  So my advice is yes, bring those swimsuits, and on a warmer day of your vacation in November, check out the pools.

I hope that this information helps, Sarah.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
