    We are considering visiting the Vero Beach resort at the end of May. There will be 6 adults and 1 toddler (2 years old). How far is it if we decide to go to Disney one day? Is there a lot locally to take in? Would we be able to find things to do for 6-7day

    Hi Emily! You will love Disney's Vero Beach Resort it's located along Florida's picturesque Atlantic Treasure Coast...true bliss. It's quickly become a favorite family vacation for the past 3 years. The moment you arrive you'll be welcomed with a relaxed and laid back pace perfect for vacation. I love that it's off the beaten path of so you can truly enjoy family time.

    Walt Disney World Resort is less than 2 hours away so it's super easy to plan a day trip for theme park attractions and events.

    There are plenty of daily activities to enjoy and a pirate water park for little ones to have a splashing great time. There's nothing like the tranquil getaway of the onsite Spa...you'll be transported to serenity.

    Of course the best thing at Disney's Vero Beach Resort is the BEACH! We spend our days on the beach, there's nothing like taking in the beautiful scene of the coast from your beach-side cabana. Don't forget to bring along a shovel and pail for your toddler to build sand castles.

    Each time we've visited Vero Beach we have had fun exploring the area and talking with locales - you won't find a more friendly bunch! We love the ocean-side farmers market, beach boutiques and nearby grocery stores.

    If you have the opportunity to experience this beautiful resort GO FOR IT! With a week long vacation you'll thoroughly enjoy the slowed down pace of this ocean side paradise! I wish you a magical and fun in the sun vacation.
