    We are considering visiting Port Orleans-Riverside in February, but are concerned with crowds and the possibility of cool weather... arriving Feb. 15th and leaving on the 22nd. Do you have any opinions on the weather and wait times during these days?

    Hi Andria,

    I just returned from a stay at Port Orleans - Riverside. We really enjoyed our visit.

    Here are the average temperatures for Disney World in February:
    * Average high temperature: 72.7
    * Average low temperature: 49.7
    * Average precipitation: 3.02

    Keep in mind that these are averages and there is always the chance of some crazy weather pattern coming through.  I always check the 10 day forecast at www.weather.com the day before I head out to make sure I've packed what I'll need during my trip.

    While I don't have a pink crystal ball, it looks like the beginning of your trip may see lower crowds. However, President's Day is February 20th so you may see larger numbers in the parks around that time. I'd probably go to Magic Kingdom at the beginning of my trip before families trying to sneak in a quick trip around President's Day arrive.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
