Hi, Monique! It would be my pleasure to help ensure that both you and your friend have a Walt Disney World Resort experience that is practically perfect in every way.

If you were to book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package consisting of both room and theme park tickets, everyone on that reservation would need to purchase the same tickets. However, if you and your friend do not wish to visit the theme parks for the same number of days, that's no problem. Simply make a room-only Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation, then you may each purchase your theme park tickets separately.
