Hi there, Gail!
I’m thrilled to hear you’re considering a trip to the
Disneyland Resort. Disneyland Park is rich with attractions and history, and there’s something extra magical about walking in Walt Disney’s footsteps at his original theme park here on the West Coast!
In my opinion, you could easily spend three to five days exploring the Disneyland Resort to take in all it has to offer, from
attractions, to entertainment, to dining, to shopping and hotel recreation. It’s also a great idea to build downtime into your schedule so you can rest, account for jet lag, and explore the Disneyland Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney District in addition to the theme parks without feeling rushed. Because the transition from Disneyland Park to Disney California Adventure Park is so quick and easy (they are literally right across from each other), I always recommend that Guests upgrade to a park hopper ticket to make the most of their days. Being able to hop back and forth depending on crowd levels and to catch certain shows or parades is a huge perk!
If you’re a Disney foodie like I am, you might want to plan for some table-service meals during your visit. A couple of my favorites are
Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure Park and
Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland Park. However, the Disneyland Resort also has several amazing quick-service restaurants you can visit without a dining reservation.
I hope this information helps you, Gail. Please visit again with more questions as your planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
