Hello. I am considering using my car rather than Dis trans. I was just there in May and it worked out well. My thoughts are: 10day trip, ADRs every morning/night. I thought driving would give me more park time, rather then waiting for buses and such.

    Hi Charles!

How awesome that you were just at Disney and already planning your next trip!

I love that Disney provides several forms of complimentary transportation for Guests and it can be very convenient at times. I am one of those that usually drives to Disney and am typically a big fan of driving my own minnie van on property.  When deciding how I am going to move from place to place on property, I always take several things into consideration:

    * What are all the options available to get to my next destination (bus, monorail, boat, walking, personal car)?

    * What amount of time will each of these options will take? Be sure to factor in the tram ride when taking your own car.  Also factor in the amount of time it will take to get to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) from the Magic Kingdom before you can take the tram to get to your car.

    * What is my next destination following the one I'm headed to now?

    * What transportation options will be available after my next destination?

Unless a boat or monorail is available as one of my options, I typically drive everywhere.  Its nice to be able to go when I'm ready to go without waiting in a potentially long line for a bus when the kids are exhausted.  Its always nice to be able to maximize my time in the parks when I have an Advanced Dining Reservation somewhere else.  My favorite part of driving my own van is shopping at Downtown Disney and having plenty of room for all the treasures I find.

Please feel free to keep all of your questions coming.  We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
