We are considering taking our 2 year old and 1 year old (will be 27 months and 15 months) in February 2012. Which deluxe resort is better for walking / easy access to attractions for their age? Also, what is the bathroom availability on buses? Thanks!

    Hello Debra,

I think taking little ones to Disney World is such a magical time for the entire family. I've traveled with family members at both those ages so I know it can be a challenge and a memory-filled experience.

There are no bathrooms on Disney buses or other forms of Disney Transportation. But no matter what Resort you choose, you will find your commute between your Resort and the Theme Park to be no more than 20 minutes. And there are restrooms at the entrances of each Theme Park as soon as you deboard your mode of transportation, you will be steps away from a bathroom.

But if you are looking to walk to your favorite Theme Parks, I have two suggestions. With toddlers, I believe you will be spending a good amount of time at the Magic Kingdom. And the only Resort from which you can walk to the beloved Theme Park is the Contemporary Resort. Take the walkway for a nice 10 minute stroll to the Park or hop on the Monorail for a quick ride. But if you are hoping to spend more time at Epcot, I would suggest staying at the Beach Club Resort. You can easily walk to the International Gateway entrance of Epcot. And the Stormalong Bay, the Resort's pool, is phenomenal for families.

No matter where you choose, I hope you have a great trip in February!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
