We're considering taking a family vacation with some family members from the UK. Is it possible for us to share a villa on one reservation or do we need to all book separately?

Hello Elaina, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to help you plan what is sure to be an unforgettable family vacation. There's something truly amazing about traveling to Walt Disney World with extended family, creating core memories that last a lifetime. Out of the many trips I've taken (more than 30 now!), the most recent one I shared with my wife, our three boys, and both sets of grandparents is a trip I will cherish forever. There's nothing quite like seeing the magic through multiple generations.

Now, let’s get to your question! You can absolutely share a Deluxe Villa on one reservation with your family members from the UK. When booking a Disney Resorts Collection hotel large enough to accommodate everyone, you'll want to ensure all your family members are added to your My Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience account. This will allow you to easily include everyone on the same reservation.

To add someone to your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience, start by logging into your account on the Walt Disney World website. Next, navigate to the "My Family & Friends" section and click "Add a Guest." You can either enter their name and age manually, use the search tool if the Guest is already using a Disney account, or look for them in “Guests you may know.” Once added, you can manage their plans, share activities, and make reservations together!

When it comes to managing charges, Disney makes it a breeze! You can link different credit cards to individual MagicBands, so each family member can handle their own expenses during your stay. It’s a perfect way to keep things organized while still enjoying the convenience of Disney’s cash-free payment system.

I have a few favorite Deluxe Villa options to recommend for large families. The 2- and 3-bedroom Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offer a luxurious and convenient experience. At the same time, the Over-the-Water Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows provide a truly unique stay. If you're looking for a more rustic, serene setting, the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge would be ideal. And for easy access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Villas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort are a top pick. You’ll have the lively BoardWalk right at your doorstep! For something out-of-the-box, consider the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. These secluded Villas offer a one-of-a-kind experience surrounded by nature while still being close to all the action. Some of my planDisney friends will be staying in a Treehouse soon, and I can't wait to visit!
