    I am considering taking my family to spend 2018 Xmas - I have been during the summer however Xmas will be something new. Do I need to pay for any special event or Xmas day meals. We usually have deluxe dining plan

    Hello again Richard and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel another great question! 
    Having spent past December 25ths with my own lovely family on holiday at Walt Disney World Resort I can tell you that the magical combination of Christmastime and Disney is absolute pure joy.  I truly hope you do indeed decide to book a pixie dusted December 2018 holiday for your family to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort as I know you won't be disappointed.  
    The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are filled with so many tinseltastic happenings and experiences such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which is a separately ticketed event held on select nights in the Magic Kingdom Park from early November until late December plus there are some wonderful and very seasonal behind the scenes style Special Events and Tours to indulge in. 
    My family enjoyed a hearty and fun filled December 25th lunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe and in past yEars most Table Service restaurants serving special Christmas Day menus were indeed included within select Disney Dining Plans. My top tip is to be sure to secure any Advanced Dining Reservations at least 180 days ahead of time.
