Ahoy Jason. Thank you for stopping by the Port of planDisney with your
arr-mazing question. Plotting a course to Walt Disney World is always a great idea! As Captain Jack Sparrow would say, "We have our heading!" So let's get to
kraken on this question because you have a vacation to plan.
Jason, I have a lot of information on my planDisney map that I want to share with you to help get you started on your planning.
Lightning Lane Passes have replaced Disney Genie+. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to pre-select arrival times for attractions before your trip. Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel or select other hotels can purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass (or Single Passes for the most popular attractions) 7 days before arrival, while Guests staying offsite can make selections 3 days before visiting. You'll make your purchase using the
My Disney Experience app. Initially, you can book up to three attractions per day, and this new system operates as a "use one, get one." For example, if you have a Lightning Lane reservation for
Pirates of the Caribbean at 9 AM, after you use that pass, you can go onto the app and select another attraction based on availability.
When it comes to pricing, the costs vary depending on the park and the date you choose. However, let me help you find this specific information. Prices will be available on your app three weeks in advance. To check them, open the app and look for the purchase options on the home page for "Lightning Lane Multi Pass/Single Pass." Even if you don't intend to make a purchase, click the purchase button and select a date. Then, choose the theme park you're interested in, and you'll see the pricing for that day. You can also explore different dates within the app now, which will give you a better idea of the costs and help you with your planning.
Now, all in favor of a treasure trove of great deals say,
aye! Currently, there are some good Resort hotels and ticket options, so I want to make sure you have the link for the current
"Special Offers, Deals & Discounts." I hope you'll find an offer that works for your dates!
Jason, at Hollywood Studios, you'll find two new shows:
"Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After" and
"The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure." Currently, the
Cool KID SUMMER event is happening, and although "kid" is in the name, I'm enjoying the special character interactions! It seems you'll be in town just in time for the brand new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom,
"Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away." I actually booked my own end-of-summer trip to see this parade! It's going to be MAGICAL!
I know I've given you a lot of information, but I want to make sure you have all the tools you need to plan your adventure. Please let us know if you have other questions. We're happy to help! Have fun!
Treasure the memories,
Shonette
