    We are considering a table service dining plan for our upcoming trip to Disney World in October. One of my children prefers more traditional menu items such as grilled chicken, spaghetti, etc. Could she be accommodated even at set menu character meals?

    I'm glad to hEAR that you are considering purchasing a Disney Dining Plan for your upcoming trip. I think you will find that the Disney Dining Plan is a great value, and you will love the convenience of having your meals prepaid.

    One of the things I love most about the restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort is the large variety of food that is available. From adventurous eaters to the pickiest of kiddos, Walt Disney World Resort truly does have something for everyone. Menus for the various dining locations can be found on the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience mobile app, so if there is a restaurant you are interested in, you can take a look at that menu to see if there is something that would appeal to your family. In my experience, the Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants have always gone out of their way to accommodate my picky children and make sure everyone enjoys their meal.

    I have found that buffet-style character meals like Chef Mickey's or The Crystal Palace work well for my family. These types of meals have a wide variety of food that my kids can sample to find something that they like. Don't forget that reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made 180 days in advance for table-service restaurants.
