We are considering staying at the wilderness lodge with our family of 6- our kids will be 7, 5, 2, and 7 months. Would a deluxe club level room be a good choice? What amenities do you get with club level? We have stayed at the AOA and Polynesian...

    Hi Katherine!

Welcome fellow Californian back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Walt Disney World Resort properties are my favorite attraction at the ‘World. One of the reasons is because there are so many benefits of being a Resort Guest. Seriously, there is no need to leave the Resort - you can have tons of fun at your hotel!

But you take your vacation to a whole new level with a Club Level stay! Besides the fantastic benefits of complimentary MagicBands, Extra Magic Hours, early access to FastPass+ and more, you also have Disney’s Signature Services who will take the work out of planning for you, so that you can enjoy all the fun. As a momma of five, I can sympathize with how.much.work goes into getting the whole family on vacation, and the Fairy Godmothers (and fathers!) at Disney’s Signature Services will sprinkle Pixie Dust your way! They are available seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. You can call (407) 939-7777 or email them at disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com. Also, you will have access to a dedicated concierge staff, and the ability to purchase extra FastPasses (priceless with little kiddos).

When we stay Club Level, we often take snacks or drinks outside of the lounge back to our room. This is invaluable with the littles! One of our favorite traditions is to grab tea and dessert in the evening and take it back to our room to watch fireworks from our balcony or on the TV (depending on where we stay). It’s our very own VIP dessert party! When we stayed Club Level at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, we would routinely grab snacks and drinks before heading to Stormalong Bay for poolside fun. The only limitation we had was how many hands we had to carry all the deliciousness!

Speaking of food, the Old Faithful Club is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and serves complimentary food throughout the day. From a continental breakfast in the morning to snacks in the afternoon, finished by hot appetizers and alcohol in the evening. We are relatively light eaters and find the morning and evening offerings are plenty of fuel for the day. The food is prepared from the restaurant kitchens, so it is guaranteed delicious!

Katherine, I stay Club Level every time I can. It makes life as a momma at Disney seamless! If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to come back!
