We are considering staying at the Riviera Resort for an upcoming stay. How is the room once all 3 beds are opened up? We have 3 adults and an older teen. or another suggestion. We usually stay at BC and YC Club level but need to try something new this year

    Hi, dear Deborah!

Thanks so much for coming back to our website. It's always a pleasure to help an old friend like you!

One of my favorite things about the studios at the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts is that you can enjoy a roomy living room during the day and open the beds only when it's time to sleep. Disney's Riviera Resort is an excellent choice for your family because most of its regular studios (not the Tower Studios) offer 423 square feet. They're quite roomy even when the three beds are open!

Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows is also an outstanding choice since its studios have 447 square feet and also accommodate five Guests. Both floor plans (at Disney's Riviera Resort and Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows) include a fantastic feature that not all Guests know about: a split bathroom layout. Besides the full bathroom, they come with a second bathroom with a rainfall shower and a sink. They also include a kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee maker.

Finally, I have to mention the studios at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. They're slightly smaller, but they also include the split bathroom layout and the kitchenette. Coming from some Club Level experiences, I think that you'll have a blast at this new type of accommodation!

If you're into the studios and you're also a frequent Guest, you may also want to look into the Disney Vacation Club. My husband and I did the math, and it made a lot of sense for our family since we now can always stay at these Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts at a much lower price and use our points to book larger villas when we need more space. I hope it also makes sense to you, and we can soon call ourselves neighbors

I hope that these tips are useful in helping you choose the perfect room for your next trip, Deborah. If you have any questions about this trip or the Disney Vacation Club, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help!

May the magic always be with you,

    Julie
