    We are considering staying at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside Resort and have read that they have a fishing hole at the children's play area. Is there a charge for fishing there? Do you need fishing licenses and do they rent poles? Thank you,

    Hi Susan, my fellow Ontarian!

    We stayed at Port Orleans, Riverside last year and we all had a great time!  

    There is a fishing hole and it is a lot of fun for the entire family.  It is a catch and release fishing hole, but you are welcome to take pictures of anything you catch.  We actually went did some fishing there and it was great!  

    The rental includes the pole/bait, no licenses are required.

    For the seasoned fisherman there is a guided bass fishing excursion.  For more information on that you can call 407-WDW-BASS
