We're considering staying at the Beach Club, mostly for Stormalong Bay and the slide. But my daughter is only 4.5. What are the rules for the slide? We don't want to stay there is she won't be able to go on it. Thank you.

    Hi Elisabeth!

We spent a long weekend at Disney's Beach Club earlier this month just to hang out at Stormalong Bay.  We can't get enough of the water fun!  To take a ride on the slide you have to be able to go by yourself and stay on your bottom sitting up or laying down on your back.  The entrance to the slide is in the pirate ship across from Stormalong Bay.  It's best if you have someone go with her and also have someone at the bottom of the slide to catch her.  If you don't have an extra person handy, have the adult go first so they can be at the bottom to catch her right after.  My 3 year old went for the first time this year and loved it.

    Have a magical day!
