We are considering staying at the Art of Animation resort, and would like to stay in a suite with a party of 7. I know it sleeps 6, but would Disney allow us to bring a small air mattress for 1 child?

    Hi, Holly!

The maximum number of guests permitted in a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is 6. A child can be added if under the age of 3. If the child is age 3 or older, you will need to make some different arrangements.

When staying at Art of Animation with 7 guests, you may want to consider booking 2 Standard Rooms in the Little Mermaid section of the resort. Each room will have 2 double beds, so there will be plenty of sleeping space for all of you.

To have all 7 guests in one room, you would have to look at a Villa, such as a 2 Bedroom Suite at Disney's Old Key West Resort. This option is definitely more expensive, but you will have the added convenience of separate bedrooms, a living room, and full kitchen.

I hope you find the perfect room for your travel party. Have fun planning this magical get-together!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
