Considering a stay at POR. Will the 5 of us (and luggage) fit comfortably in an Alligator Bayou room with the fold down bed? Kids are 12, 9 & 4. Also considering AOA family suite, but like coming "home" to a quiet resort after a busy day a

    Hi there, Jen!

Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about your Walt Disney World Resort hotel choice.  To answer your question, yes, you would all fit comfortably in a Murphy bed room at Port Orleans Riverside.  However, the room there will be much smaller than a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  With all beds utilized in your Port Orleans Riverside room, there will be little room to spread out.  How much time do you plan to spend in your room?  If it's just a place to sleep and shower, you will be just fine.  I happen to love both the resorts you mentioned, so it really comes down to what will suit your specific needs best.  At Disney's Art of Animation Resort, there is quite a bit more room, and the theming is unsurpassed.   With little ones, you might find having a kitchenette and Family Room to be extremely convenient.  There are also two bathrooms as well as a master bedroom.  Each suite sleeps up to six people comfortably.  Take a more detailed look at the Walt Disney World Resorts here.

Please let me know if I can help again, Jen.  Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
