Hello, we're considering stateroom 7586 on the FANTASY. I like that it is a non-connecting room, but it's close to the elevators. Should we expect noise from the elevators?

    Ahoy Claudia!

I am so very excited to hEAR that you have an upcoming cruise on the Disney Fantasy! If you ask me, there is no better way to explore the high seas than with Captain Mickey. Especially when staying in Disney Cruise Line’s fabulous staterooms

I love getting into all the details with Guests about their cruises, especially when it’s a specific question about their stateroom selection. Disney Cruise Line has some of the absolute best staterooms in the industry. Hello, those split bathrooms? A lifesaver for families! Plus, I have some of the best nights of sleep ever while cruising...I think it’s because of the amazing mattresses and bedding they use.

You have chosen Stateroom 7586 on the Disney Fantasy, which is centrally located Midship on Deck 7. You will absolutely love that location! When I sail, I always gravitate to the midship staterooms because I have a family member who is prone to motion sickness and I want to ensure that the movement of the ship doesn’t cause any issues.

After checking the Disney Fantasy deck plans for that deck and stateroom, I believe that Stateroom 7586 is approximately the 5th stateroom from the elevators and the first Family Stateroom after a slight turn in the hallway. Fortunately, I’ve searched online and the reviews I've found on that particular stateroom praised its location and did not say anything negative about noise from the elevators.

A planDisney tip: Feel free to bring some noise-cancelling assistance with you. I always travel with a sound machine, so that helps minimize any background noises once we have turned in for the night. I also like to throw in a few pairs of earplugs just in case.

After hearing all this (pun intended), I hope you are confident in your stateroom choice and cannot wait to set sail. Fly back to planDisney if you have more questions. We are all EARS! Wishing you a FANTAStic cruise!
