I am considering splurging on a 10 day trip to Disney world the first week of December 2017 and staying on club level at the contemporary for our 30th anniversary. Is a dining plan necessary if you are on club level?

Hi John! Congratulations on your upcoming milestone anniversary. I can't think of a better way to celebrate then to be at Walt Disney World.

What an exciting stay for ten days at the beautiful Contemporary Resort. Add to that the Club Level accommodations and it is going to be beyond magical for you and your mate. My family has had the opportunity to stay in Club Level rooms many times over the years. It is my advice that you do not worry about a meal plan if you feel you will be taking advantage of the Club Level Lounges. These are open for breakfast every day and include enough options to make that meal hearty to start your day. Most guests are gone for the mid day time and thus the food and beverages offered in the lounges during that time is mostly just some snacks. But starting again around 5pm they will bring out hot treats with great accompaniments and you can sit and graze there with a nice glass of wine or beer. Later in the evening enjoy sweets and after dinner drinks all complimentary to you as. Club Level guest.

As you can see there is going to be quite a bit of food offered daily for you to enjoy. You certainly won't need snack credits to add to that. You will want to of course make other great dining reservations as there are some wonderful choices on property. But since you are paying for the Club Level room it is wise to use that lounge during your stay.
