Hi there, Stacy!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a previous Disney Cruise Line Guest and
Castaway Club member you know exactly what awaits you onboard and I am so excited that you are considering doing a solo voyage! Especially after the busy-ness of the holidays, a relaxing getaway sounds
DREAMy!! And cruising without others gives you the chance to experience things onboard that maybe you haven’t had a chance to do so on previous voyages!
As you are aware,
Room Service is included with your stateroom reservation, but unfortunately Room Service has a set menu (I love the Caesar Salad and the Club Sandwich....) which does not typically include items off the
main dining room menus. But, if you are concerned about dining solo in the main dining rooms, you can request to be seated with tablemates when you make your reservation – or if you do prefer to dine solo, you can make that request, too! On previous voyages we have been seated with table mates and it was actually a lot of fun as I found Disney Cruise Line did a great job of pairing us with another family with children of similar ages and we found we had more in common that we would have thought and still keep in touch via email long after our voyage ended!
I do hope you decide to book this magical and relaxing getaway for yourself…and enjoy every single minute of it!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
