We are considering a second trip with our 2 year old. Our first trip was in October 2011. He enjoyed the shows and meeting the characters. We are looking at the week after Easter (April 10-14). Is this a manageable time for what we want to mainly do?

    Hi Jennifer!

The week after Easter is expected to be a crowded time at Walt Disney World.  However, if you are mostly interested in just meeting the characters and enjoying the shows, then you should be okay.  But compared to a typical day in October, the parks will be packed.  It will be a lot harder to get a good spot to watch the parades, fireworks, etc.  Also, the lines in general will be much much longer.

If you do go, I suggest getting to the parks early.  I recommend that guests plan on arriving at least 30 minutes before the official park opening time.  You will also want to make sure you have Advanced Dining Reservations for any Table Service (full service) restaurants you would like to dine at.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
