I am considering Saratoga Springs Resort for our stay. Any comments on this resort?

    Hi Tracey,

My family and I stayed there for 5 days about a year and a half ago.  It was our first time staying in a studio suite.  We found it very convenient having a microwave, larger refrigerator, and toaster in our room.  We enjoyed eating breakfast in our room everyday.  We also appreciated the extra room afforded by the sofabed.  My daughter loved converting the sofa into her bed every night.

The pools and playgrounds were very nice.  There was a little bit of a walk to get to the bus stop, but it wasn't bad.  The grounds are so beautiful we all enjoyed walking around the resort.

It was strange for us staying at Saratoga Springs because it felt like home.  During most of our WDW trips we usually stay at a resort that has a beach or at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which is like staying on an African Savannah.  Saratoga Springs feels like your in a lakeside community in upstate NY during the turn of the century.  It doesn't feel that much different to where I live in NJ.  The designers were so committed to detail that all the trees there are native to the northeast.  Its great and beautiful, but again it looks like home to me.

    Enjoy
