    Hi! Considering running the Family Everest Challenge in May. We arrive late on 5/3. Can we pick up race packets morning of race? Also, staying at WL, what is best way to get to ESPN, and how much time should we allow? Thanks!

    Hi Allison!

    The Expedition Everest Challenge Family Edition looks like it's going to be so much fun! 

    There wouldn't be enough time to pick up a packet before the race on Saturday morning.  The race begins at 10:30 a.m., but the expo won't open on Saturday until 10 a.m.  You would need to pick it up on Friday evening.  Here is the expo schedule:

    Packet Pick-Up

    ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
    12:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013
    10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013


    Since Wilderness Lodge is not a host resort for the race, you would need to provide your own transportation to ESPN Wide World of Sports for packet pick-up.  The best thing to do is arrange for a cab to take you.  You can do this at your front desk.  The packet pick-up process will take about twenty minutes.
