Hola, Mauricio, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm so thrilled for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I recently spent a few days in the Disney Parks with my mom, who rented an ECV (Electric Conveyance Vehicle), and there's no way we could've experienced everything we experienced without it! Your idea for a mid-day break is a great one, too! I spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that, if you'd like to leave the parks without your ECV, you may drop it off at the Stroller Shop where it was rented and then return later to pick it up again when you're ready to head back into the parks, if you hold onto your receipt! So, Mauricio, the short answer to your question is, yes!
ECVs may not be reserved in advance so plan to arrive early at the
Stroller Shop located outside the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, as a limited number of ECVs and wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Though hours are subject to change without notice, the Stroller Shop usually opens one hour prior to park opening.
When you enter into the park, Mauricio, make sure to stop by any
Guest Relations location and ask for a
Guide for Guests with Disabilities. This detailed guide map indicates where and how to access attractions and was a game-changer for me and my mom as we navigated the parks. Each attraction varies, so your best bet is to speak with a Cast Member at the attraction you wish to experience, to discuss what your options might be. There are multiple services available for those with mobility disabilities.
Mauricio, I notice you'll be visiting right at the kick-off of
Disneyland's 70th Celebration, which begins May 16, 2025, and runs through summer of 2026! I could not be more excited for this amazing moment in history, with limited-time entertainment, including the return of fan-favorite
Paint the Night Parade to be coming down Main Street very soon! It's going to be so magical. And you'll be there to experience it all!
I hope I was able to provide some helpful information for you, Mauricio! As you continue to prepare for your upcoming visit, please don't hesitate to come back and
ask me another question! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe where to find the best seasonal treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities.
Above all, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the most magical visit, Mauricio!
