Considering purchasing MVMCP tickets. How many are sold (meaning how much less crowded is the MK during the party)? And what attractions will be open during the party?

Our family loves the special event parties in the Magic Kingdom!  I have never seen ticket numbers published for events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party but have always felt the lines were much shorter then during any daytime visit.

Almost all of the main attractions are open and running. Things like Tom Sawyers Island and the Riverboat will be some of the few that are not in operation.  The popular Mountain rides...Space, Thunder, and Splash....will absolutely be in full swing unless they are under refurbishment or there is a technical difficulty. In addition to the attractions there will be special entertainment and dance areas for the kids throughout the park.  And don't forget to watch it snow on Main Street and grab your complimentary cookies and hot cocoa when you can.  The holiday parade is also one of my favorites so I recommend you take the time to stop and watch this bit of magic that night!
