It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa!
My family and I really love using the
Disney Dining Plan when we're on vacation, and one of the reasons we keep coming back to it is because there is such a huge variety of meals and snacks to try. If you are eating at a restaurant that accepts the Dining Plan there are not a lot of things on the menu that are off the table, so to speak, so let's chat about how to use those Table-Service, Quick-Service, and Snack Credits on your first trip this spring!
There are three versions of the Dining Plan to choose from: the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the
Disney Dining Plan, and the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. The middle plan is my favorite one because it includes one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, and two Snacks per day for each person I'm traveling with, which my family finds to be the most convenient for the way we like to eat. At the moment, there are
150 dining locations that will be participating in the 2020 Disney Dining Plan and I expect that number to grow in the coming weeks as more and more restaurants finalize their plans for next year.
As for what is included with your credit, at Quick-Service locations you're able to get an entrée and a beverage, at Table-Service restaurants you're able to get a beverage, an entrée, and a dessert, and you can even add an appetizer to that if you're using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan! On the menu, if it's listed as an entrée it is included in the Dining Plan. If an entrée is excluded for any reason or requires a surcharge on top of your Dining Plan credit, it will be clearly listed on the menu so you can choose for yourself. When it comes to Snack credits, a snack is usually something like ice cream or a frozen treat, a pretzel or some popcorn, or one of the dishes at the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which will be happening during your visit. A turkey leg is not considered to be a Snack credit, but you can tell if a menu item is a Snack if it has the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo next to it on the menu!
I hope this answers your questions, Melissa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
