We are considering purchasing an annual pass since we go to Disney twice a year but we are also fans of the dining plans. Since dining plans can only be purchased as part of a Magic Your Way Pack will passes prevent us from purchasing a dining plan?

    Hi Patricia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for this great question!  I recently became a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder myself and I absolutely love it!  I love all the perks and discounts...not to mention the fact I can get into the theme parks all year long!  I'm also a huge fan of dining at Walt Disney World, so I'm happy to pass on to you that you absolutely CAN take advantage of the Disney Dining Plans as an Annual Passholder.  Annual Passholders can purchase a Disney Dining Plan by adding it to a room-only reservation.  You don't need the theme park tickets that are usually required, since you have those as part of your Annual Pass.  It will still be considered a vacation package (and subject to the usual package terms).  To make those arrangements, just call (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) and the Cast Members will take care of the rest for you.  Be sure to ask about other Annual Passholder discounts while you're on the phone, too.  While Disney Dining Plans aren't usually discounted for Annual Passholders, there may be special room rates or other deals that would make your vacation even more affordable.

I hope that helps, Patricia, but please write back if we can answer any other questions.  Wishing you pixie-dusted planning!
