Hi Denise,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan a multi-generational family trip!
Decisions, decisions! Your choice might depend on the ages of children traveling with you. With Pandora - The World of Avatar now open for expeditions at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, I would book an expedition there first.
Avatar Flight of Passage is AMAZING but explorers must be at least 44 inches tall. Our girls also love Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Festival of the Lion King show.
If you will have little ones with you who might not yet be ready for Avatar Flight of Passage, Epcot would be my second suggestion. Frozen Ever After, Journey into Imagination With Figment, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Living with the Land and Spaceship Earth are all possibilities for little ones. Check the attractions lists at
Disney's Animal Kingdom and at
Epcot to determine what rides might be appropriate for your family. Remember to review the character experiences at each park. We love the
character experiences in Epcot because they are so varied but
Disney's Animal Kingdom characters and entertainment are also lots of fun!
Denise, when our girls were 5-years old, their favorite park was Epcot. They spent a lot of time at Innoventions. Now, they adore dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and their favorite rides are Soarin' Around the World, Test Track and Mission: SPACE.
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
