Considering going on a mother-daughter (daughter is 18) trip the end of May or the beginning of June and was wondering what resort you would reccomend. Could you possibly give an idea at each resort level? Thank you!

Beth, this brings back some great memories for myself as my own daughter and I had several trips together when she was that age.  The most memorable one was when she graduated from high school and we headed down for a week of girl time!

If you can swing the budget to pamper yourself then the best choices in the deluxe range are the Yacht or Beach Club resorts or the Grand Floridian.  All three are wonderful and it just depends on what park you would like to be nearest to...EPCOT or the Magic Kingdom.  We liked the Yacht or Beach Club as we wanted to roam through the World Showcase to dine and shop in the evenings.  But the Magic Kingdom is a great place to be for that special Disney magic and the Grand Floridian is just one stop away from its gates!

My favorite moderate resort is the Port Orleans French Quarter.  I love the ambience and size of the resort as it is a bit smaller then most moderates.  My second choice for moderate would be the Coronado Springs resort. It is geared for conventions and groups but because of that it also offers a spa and table service dining room which the others don't have.

My choice for value resort would be Pop Century.  It tends not to have quite as many groups as some of the other value resorts might have during your stay.

Good luck on your selection....magic will come your way no matter where you stay!
