Considering MNSSHP Sept.13 for 4 yr old boy, but he goes to bed @ 7pm, has anyone had experience keeping kids up past bedtime for a special event, he has ADHD and is very hyper during the day (refusing to nap), but crashes by 7pm, hate for him to miss out!

    Hi Amanda,

I've taken my children to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party several times. When my son was 4, we made the mistake of spending the whole day in one park and then trying to do the Party in the evening. He was cranky and slept through half of it. We learned from that and when our daughter was 4 we did a pool day during the day and relaxed. All of the kids were able to stay awake for the Party and enjoyed it much more. I recommend that you just plan on taking it easy during the day so that you can thoroughly enjoy the Party at night.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
