I am considering Mickey's Backyard BBQ for my 2 and 5 year old. Would be be worth using 2 table service credits? What category seating is available with the dining plan? We will be traveling in 2018.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Candace, we thank you for your excellent question!

Mickey’s Backyard BBQ is a super fun barbecue buffet for everyone. The Disney Character interaction is spectacular, including the dancing. You will find lots of games to keep your children happy and entertained. My experience with this, was, that I saw many folks leave after about an hour, while we lollygagged, and to our great surprise the Disney Characters came around again for more autographs and dancing. Now, I don’t know if that will be your experience, as things are always subject to change, but, I, cannot think of a better place for our youngest Guests to laugh, eat good food, dance, meet Disney Characters and have a whole lot of fun.

Candace, if you wish to redeem your Disney Dining Plan Meal Entitlements for this show, please note that category 2 or 3 seating must be booked (subject to change).

Have you seen our online resource called Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones? It offers helpful planning tips, suggestions for suitable Disney Resort hotels, attractions and experiences, sample Theme Park Itineraries and much more; all designed to foster Best Day Ever experiences!

I hope this information is helpful, Candace, and we would be happy to be of any further assistance again soon in planning your Disney Vacation!

    Best Disney Dishes!
