We are considering the Magic Kingdom dessert party on our next trip, with Garden view (not Tomorrowland Terrace slightly sideways viewing). My husband uses an ECV as he is unable to stand. Would he be able to take this into the viewing ares?

    Hi Jacqueline!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I've been lucky enough to enjoy the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing on several occasions. It's so much fun, and the array of desserts is out-of-this-world. Make sure to show up hungry, because they serve lots and lots of delicious treats!

Your husband will be more than welcome to take his ECV into the Plaza Garden viewing area to see the Happily Ever After fireworks. Please note that the garden area is considered "standing room only", and guests inside the viewing area will tend to stand to watch the show. For that reason, if your husband needs to remain seated during the fireworks, I suggest heading over to the garden area as soon as the Cast Members escort guests over to claim a good spot by the railing. That way, he won't have his view blocked as guests stand up to see the show.

If you've not already experienced the Happily Ever After fireworks show, boy, are you in for a treat. The music is awesome, the castle projections are amazing, and the fireworks light up the whole sky above Cinderella Castle! It's a beautiful show, and I just can't get enough of it.

I hope you have a fabulous time at the dessert party! - Diane W.
