We’re considering getting the Disney visa credit card, we already enjoy using our Disney visa debit card benefits but thinking to take advantage of the special fianace for a Disney vacation package, we’re planning to visit during spring break April 2019

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, DiDi! I am the proud user of a Disney Chase VISA and I love earning my Disney points. My family pays for all our souvenirs using our points and it’s great fun to save them up.

I think that other than the signup financing option, the points earning is the main difference between the debit and credit cards. Though you should know if you choose a Magic Your Way Vacation package, you can put a deposit down and make payments on your vacation, no credit card needed. You can pay via phone or through the My Disney Experience portal. It’s so easy to follow these directions that my fellow panelist Donyell gives. Don’t forget that if you choose to upgrade from a Disney debit card to a Disney Chase VISA to track your rewards properly and move them to your rewards payment card. And as always, bring your cards on vacation with you, so your family can access all the perks of being a Cardholder like special character meet and greets.

If I can help you with another aspect of your vacation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
