Considering FW cabins for our 1st trip, and have logistic questions! If we request the 2100 loop, how long is the walk to the Meadows or Settlement post? And, will the boat run early enough to reach Magic Kingdom before extra magic hours at 8am? Thanks!

    Megan:

The walk from the 2100 Loop to the Meadows Trading Post is a pleasant 5-minute stroll depending on which end of the loop you are located.  The Settlement post is another story. I love the 1/4 mile-or-so walk but other folks may not.  Keep in mind that across the street from the entry to the 2100 Loop is an internal bus that will take you to Pioneer Hall and about 50 yards away from the Settlement.

The boat usually begins running about an hour before the park opens, no matter the time. But be careful, if you miss that first boat, you'll be waiting on the next boat that will get you there about 10 minutes before park opening (do I sound like the voice of someone who barely missed a boat on my last trip?)

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
