We're considering the following restaurants in downtown disney before & after activities there with our 3 kids- portobello's, wolfgang puck sitdown or wolfgang puck express. Any advice on length of dining, acceptable for children etc..? Thanks

    Hi Dana!

My son and I love eating at the wonderful restaurants in Downtown Disney!  We have found that a Table Service or sit down meal in Walt Disney World can take one hour to two and a half hours on average so if your children don't usual last that long then a Counter Service or Quick Service meal may be a better option for your family.  Wolfgang Puck Express might be a great option for your family from the three restaurants that you mentioned in your question.  I have two more restaurant suggestions in Downtown Disney for you as well.  The first is Earl of Sandwich, a Quick Service restaurant with amazing hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, and desserts.  My second suggestion for you is T-Rex which is a Table Service restaurant with Dinosaurs and special effects while you eat.  It definitely will keep the children entertained while you eat. I will warn you that it can be a little noisy in there and there is a meteor shower that happens sporadically as well.

I hope that your family has the vacation of a lifetime on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
