I was considering doing the Spirit of Aloha dinner show have Dining Plan and two adults is the show worth the 2 TS credits or is Hoop-Dee-Do a better choice for two adults? Thanks love the panel :D

    Hi Lindsay,

Both the Spirit of Aloha Show and Hoop De Doo Revue are a great way to end a Disney day.  The shows are very different, and I would base your decision on your personal preferences.  Here are some thoughts to help you decide.

Hoop De Doo - it's a country-western variety show, with dancing, singing and stand-up comedians (think slap stick).  While you are being entertained, you dine on all-you-care-to-eat bread (with really good honey butter), salad, fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, beans, and strawberry shortcake.  Soft drinks, beer, wine and sangria are also included.  The show is very entertaining and there's lots of audience participation.  The waiters are a riot too!  This event takes place indoors at the Fort Wilderness Campground.

Spirit of Aloha Show -is a traditional luau that takes place outside at the Luau Cove at the Polynesian Resort.  The pavillion is covered, but not climate controlled.  The show features hula dancers, musical acts and an amazing "fire eating" man that ends the show in a spectacle that generally has the audience staring in awe.  Your party will dine on family-style platters of ribs, baked chicken, polynesian rice and veggies and a chocolate volcano dessert.  Soft drinks, beer and wine are included.

If I was travelling without my kids, I'd probably opt for the Hoop De Doo, because it's indoors, hysterically funny and an overall great time, but both are a wonderful option for adults.

Whichever you chose, have a great night out!
