    We're considering 4th Disney trip in 5 yrs. Can go late Mar or later in April. When is less busy? Also, 2 boys aged 12&9. Want moderate hotel. Any suggestions? Like POFQ, PORS or CBR. Don't want pirate rooms (too far). Only like mansions 85/90 at PO

    Hi Debbie!

    Generally speaking, March is less crowded than April. It can also be slightly cooler on March, but there really isn't much difference weather-wise. With regards to a Disney Moderate Resort, my favorite is Port Orleans Riverside and then Port Orleans French Quarter. I think the other Disney Moderate Resorts are generally too large and too spread out unless you have a car. 

    I have two boys, ages 13 and 8, and they both love Port Orleans Riverside and especially the pool there. It has a relatively long water slide. I also love the boat service to Downtown Disney. It is a lot of fun, especially at night.
